Kintetsu 9020 Series (Selectable Car Number) 6-Car Leading Car Set (Motorized)
The Kintetsu 9020 Series, collectively known as "Series 21," is a commuter train developed under the slogan "People-Friendly, Earth-Friendly," and was introduced in 2000. Each trainset features differences in the manufacturer of the VVVF inverter control unit, pantograph, air conditioner design, and destination display.
The trains consist of two cars and are deployed on the Osaka Line and Nara Line. The Nara Line cars were modified to operate on the Hanshin Line in 2006.
Along with the 9820 Series and 8600 Series, they are active on the Hanshin Line and on the Kyoto, Nara, Kashihara, and Tenri Lines.
