Kintetsu 9020 Series (Selectable Car Number) 2-Car Add-On Set
The Kintetsu 9020 Series, collectively known as "Series 21," is a commuter train developed under the slogan "People-Friendly, Earth-Friendly," and was introduced in 2000. Each trainset differs in the manufacturer of the VVVF inverter control unit, pantograph, air conditioner design, and destination display.
The two-car trains are deployed on the Osaka Line and Nara Line, with the Nara Line cars being modified for operation on the Hanshin Line since 2006.
Along with the 9820 Series and 8600 Series, they are active on the Hanshin Line and on the Kyoto, Nara, Kashihara, and Tenri Lines.
■This two-car add-on set features the Kintetsu 9020 series (compatible with the Hanshin Line) used on the Kintetsu Nara and Kyoto lines, with selectable car numbers.
