The 113 series 2000s, introduced in 1978, featured an expanded seat pitch similar to the 115 series 1000s. Operating on the Tokaido Main Line (Tokyo Section).Notably, double decker stainless steel cars were a distinctive feature of their formations. Occasionally, surplus Limited Express Green cars, known as ""Bake-SARO"", were incorporated, earning praise from railfans.
◆Introducing the JR-specification 113 series Shonan color, released in 2023, perfectly complementing the 211 series 0s also launched that year.
●113 Series 2000 Shonan Color (JR Specification)
・Productized from K52 formation belonging to JR East Kozu Depot around 1993
・Green car incorporates two-story Salo 124 with conductor's room and business waiting room, and Salo 110-1200
・Equipped with JR radio antenna, side direction sign, reproduces the form after incorporating Salo 124. H-rubber reproduces the front in black and the side in gray
・Front display is already installed "Regular" (navy blue)
●113 Series 2000 Shonan Color (JR Central, T formation)
・Productized from T1 formation belonging to JR Central Shizuoka Depot around 1993
・Reproduces the JR mark of a different size and color from the formation belonging to JR East, as well as the gray bogies and underfloor equipment. The H-rubber is set in black on both the front and sides.
- The front display is "normal" (white background) already installed.
- The 15th car, KuHa 111, has a front hood installed.
● SaRo 110-358 is a modified SaRo 489, recreating the newly installed entrance and the ventilation window that was also installed.
● Each car uses a body-mounted close-coupled coupler without a hook. Comes with a body support that can be attached to the front.
● The use of a slotless motor achieves smooth and quiet running. The T-formation 4-car set does not have traction tires.
● Head/tail lights and front display lights up (with switch to turn them off)
