GLACIER EXPRESS 3-Unit Basic Set
Alpine Locomotive Ge4/4-III
● The basic set (3 cars)/starter set features locomotive No. 647. It features a large Rhaetian Railway logo on the side.
● The updated exterior, particularly the headlights, is recreated.
● The headlights have been redesigned with HID/LED lighting (white LEDs used).
● The front is recreated with the repositioning of the electrical couplers and hoses (jumper plugs), and the Graubünden emblem. The emblem is recreated with a shield-shaped plate.
● The brake hoses located on both sides of the front center are recreated as separate parts.
● The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running.
● The Glacier Express short coupler is standard equipment. Includes a replacement Arnold coupler.
● Minimum passing curve radius: R150
● DCC compatibility by replacing the light board with <29-025 DN163K4a> (available at Hobby Center Kato)
Passenger Car
●Excellence Class:
- A gold band borders the red and blue-and-white of the car body, and an "EXCELLENCE" sign is displayed at the top of the side display. The "CLASS" lettering is reproduced.
- The end of the car, with the locomotive-coupled side's through-hole removed and the door configuration changed.
- The 1+1 seating arrangement, table, and bar installed in the space up to one window from the end of the car are reproduced.
- The side windows, which were partially closed and reduced in size due to the installation of the bar at the end of the car, are reproduced.
● The passenger door windows are reproduced as drop windows.
● The end plate glass, with its revised frosted glass design, is reproduced.
● The floorboards and bogie frame are a blue-gray color.
● The chair colors have been changed in both first and second class cars, and the interior has been redesigned to resemble the real car, with a black/brown interior.
● The interior of the Api car is reproduced with some seats removed and additional luggage space added.
