The EF510 300 series is a multi-system locomotive introduced as a successor to the ED76 and EF81 freight locomotives operating in Kyushu. Based on the EF510 0 series used in Honshu, it has been modified to accommodate Kyushu’s ground equipment. Additionally, it features regenerative braking for alternating current, aiming to reduce power consumption in freight railway transport as part of JR Freight's "Long-Term Vision 2030" for achieving a greener society.
The latest electric locomotive for freight transport in Kyushu is now available in N gauge. Also being released are essential container freight cars such as the Koki 104 and 107. You can enjoy creating your own freight trains by adding your favorite containers.
