Electric Locomotive EF65 1118 Rainbow
The EF65 1118 made its debut in 1997, replacing the older EF65 1019, the first to sport the Rainbow colors. This model is known for its unique design with the EF65 logo extending across the side windows. Even after the passenger cars were retired in 2000, the locomotive continued to operate with its iconic livery.
This model is perfect for pairing with the newly released 24 Series Sleeping car “Ginga”
With this release, we are introducing a slotless motor for smoother operation.

・Produced to match the EF65 specification from 2000 to 2006, featuring black window gaskets, no air conditioning, and the EF65 logo
extending across the side windows.
・Accurately recreated with a snowplow skirt, as seen on the real locomotive.
・Includes air conditioning parts that can be swapped with the installed lightning arrester to represent the 2006-2009 specification.
・Equipped with working headlights using bulb-colored LEDs.
・The number plate is integrated with the body and pre-printed with the number (EF65 1118).
・Includes a printed manufacturer’s plate with "Kawasaki Heavy Industries/Fuji Electric."
・Comes with standard Arnold couplers and includes replacement knuckle couplers.
・Compatible with quick head marks, including "Sayonara Rainbow" and "EL&SL Usui
