JR 24 Series 25-type Express Sleeper Car Twilight Express
The Twilight Express is a sleeper express train that began operating in 1989. It was green instead of the traditional blue image, and had luxurious passenger rooms with two-story private cars, lobby cars, and observation suites, making it very popular.
In addition to the dedicated locomotive EF81, which matches the color of the passenger cars, it also pulled the ED79 and DD51, and connected Osaka and Sapporo until 2015.
