GREENMAX 32049 Keihan 10000
The Keihan 10000 series is a four-car commuter train manufactured from 2002. Based on the 7200 series, it features several differences, including a 20mm lower floor height to reduce the gap with the platform, the adoption of fully automatic air conditioning, and UV-cut glass. The first batch of trains utilized parts from the 1900 and 2600 series, such as pantographs and fuse boxes, to reduce costs.
The second batch, introduced from 2006 onwards, uses almost entirely newly manufactured parts and includes changes such as standardized bogies, black-painted window frames, and the elimination of interior fluorescent light covers.
