November 2025 KATO New Trains

223 Series 2000 Series <New Rapid>
The 2000 Series, which appeared in 1999 as the definitive version of the 223 Series, is a vehicle with a wide variety of forms, with specifications aimed at reducing manufacturing costs, and differences in form depending on the vehicle manufacturer and the time of manufacture. Since 2013, a fall prevention barrier has been installed between the front cars to prevent passengers from falling off the platform, which adds an accent to the formation. It is used on the JR Kobe Line, JR Kyoto Line, and Biwako Line as a <New Rapid> and <Rapid>.
You can enjoy various formation variations just like the real train, such as coupled operation with the 225 Series.

211 Series 0 Series Nagano Color The 211 Series 0 Series and 2000 Series were introduced on the Tokaido Main Line, and the 1000 Series and 3000 Series on the Takasaki and Utsunomiya Lines from 1986, the end of the JNR era, to the early days of JR. After that, with the introduction of the E231 series, they were transferred to the Nagano area in 2013, at which point the 0 and 2000 series were shortened to six cars, and the 1000 and 3000 series were shortened to three cars, and at the same time were fitted with single-arm pantographs and cold-weather equipment, and they now play a major role in commuter transport in the area on the Chuo Line, Shinonoi Line (between Tachikawa and Nagano), the Oito Line (between Matsumoto and Shinano-Omachi), and the Iida Line (between Tatsuno and Iida).
