Hanshin 5001 Series (5009 Train) 4-Car Set

The Hanshin 5001 Series is a standard-use train manufactured between 1977 and 1981. Because it operates between short stations, it boasts high acceleration and deceleration capabilities, earning it the nickname "Jet Car." Its acceleration is among the highest on Japanese railways.
Its two-tone "cream" and "ultramarine blue" color scheme led to it being nicknamed the "blue-bodied car." With the introduction of successor trains, its number decreased, and it was sadly retired in March 2025.

■This product features a nostalgic blue-bodied car with a cream and ultramarine blue paint job.
■Reproduces the appearance of the lead car after the coupler was replaced.
■Car number and company logo are pre-printed.
■The "'Important' is tightly packed." mark can be selected from the included vehicle markings (newly produced).
■Includes newly produced stickers, including type and destination displays, low-cooling cars, and priority seats.
■Headlights (warm white), taillights (red), and type and destination displays (white) illuminate.
■Newly produced FS391 bogies and dedicated underfloor equipment.
■The end faces of 5012 and 5011, which differ from those of 5025 (a Railway Koshien exclusive), are reproduced.
■Train radio antenna, fuse box, and lightning arrester are user-installable.
■Long seat parts with car end sections are included.
■Equipped with a coreless motor power unit with a flywheel.
