Alps Locomotive Ge4/4-III Starter Set
●Basic Set (3-car)/Starter Set features locomotive No. 647. Reproduces the design with the large Rhaetian Railway logo on the side.
●Reproduces the updated exterior, particularly around the lighting.
●Reproduces the redesigned headlights, now using HID/LED technology (white LED used).
●Reproduces the revised arrangement of electrical connectors and hoses (coupler plugs), and the front end with the Graubünden canton emblem. The emblem is reproduced as a shield-shaped plate.
●Reproduces the brake hoses located on both sides near the front center as separate parts.
●Utilizes a slotless motor for smooth and quiet operation.
●Features standard short couplers for the Glacier Express. Replacement Arnold couplers included.
●Minimum operating radius: R150
●DCC compatible by replacing the light board with <29-025 DN163K4a> (available at Hobby Center Kato).
Passenger Cars

- Reproduces the gold stripe at the red/blue-white boundary and the "EXCELLENCE CLASS" lettering above the side indicator.
- Reproduces the end panel with the removed gangway cover and modified door arrangement.
- Reproduces the 1+1 seating arrangement with tables and a bar extending from the end of the car to one window.
- Reproduces the partially closed and smaller side windows due to the bar installation.
●Reproduces the exterior with lowered passenger door windows.
●Reproduces the redesigned frosted glass on the end panels.
●Floor and bogie frame are painted in a bluish-gray color.
●Changes the seat color in both 1st and 2nd class to reflect the real-life black/brown interior.
●Api car interior reproduces the layout with removed seats and increased luggage storage space.
