221 Series “Yamatoji Rapid” Add-on Set (4 Cars) No Power

The 221 Series is a DC suburban electric train introduced in 1989 for the new rapid services (“Shinkaisoku”) on the Tokaido Main Line. It was the first train in the JR West fleet to be designed and manufactured with a new design concept.
● It is currently active in a wide range of areas, including the Kansai Main Line (Yamatoji Line) to the Osaka Loop Line, Nara Line, Sanin Main Line (Sagano Line), Kusatsu Line, and Kosei Line. Following structural upgrades (renewal) in 2013, the front section was equipped with fall prevention boards, and the headlights were upgraded to HID lights with fog lights.

This product features the new shape of the lightning arrester on the roof, a slotless motor, and includes updated destination stickers. The item number, JAN code, and price of the basic set and individual products have been changed accordingly.
① We have recreated the NA413 and NA414 trains belonging to the Nara Branch of the Suita General Rolling Stock Depot.
② Accurately replicates the distinctive features following the structural upgrades, such as the reinforced front skirt, fall
prevention boards, and headlights with HID lights and fog lights.
③ The lightning arrester on the roof is reproduced in its updated form following the renewal.
④ All front cars have lit head/tail-lights and front destination signs (off-switch included). The light unit uses white LEDs.
⑤ The fall prevention boards between the lead cars are reproduced as separate parts.
⑥ The air-conditioned car sign, wheelchair/pushchair symbols, door switch, end markings, safety equipment labels, and door
cock are all printed.
⑦ Each car is equipped with body-mounted tight-lock couplers (without hooks), and the lead car includes an electric coupling.
⑧ The slotless motor ensures smooth and silent operation.
⑨ The side destination boards are black. Stickers included.
⑩ The front destination board is printed and reads “〇〇“. Exchangeable signs include ~
