JNR 72/73 Series Commuter Train (Yokohama Line) Set
The 72/73 Series was the original 4-door commuter train and was introduced on busy lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area, but with the introduction of the 101/103 Series, it was converted to suburban Tokyo and local lines in the country, replacing prewar JNR trains.
On the Yokohama Line, it was in service until 1979, the last year of its use in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
