883 Series "Sonic" (Yellow)
The 883 Series debuted in 1995 as JR Kyushu’s first tilting train—Japan’s first AC tilting train for commercial service. Among the original formations, the 5-car sets featured distinctive front-end color variations: silver, yellow, and dark blue.
This model reproduces the AO-7 set in its original 5-car configuration, showcasing the vibrant early-era design that made the Sonic famous throughout Kyushu.
