Caboose YO 8000 made its debut in 1975 and was seen throughout Japan as connected to freight trains in the late period of JNR (Japan National Railways) before the privatization of the company.
From this production lot on, major letterings will be printed on the body except road No. and the ventilator will be already fitted in the factory.
