JR Diesel Car KiHa 40-2000 Series (JR West Refurbished / No. 2134 / "Nostalgie" Livery)
Unit No. 2134 of the KiHa 40 series was repainted in September 2016 into the "Nostalgie" livery, which replicates the standard color scheme used during the Japanese National Railways (JNR) era.
During a 2019 inspection, the bogies were changed to gray and additional jumper cable receptacles were installed on the front, resulting in changes to its external appearance.
