JNR 485-1500 Series Limited Express Ishikari
The 485 series is a limited express train developed by JNR that is compatible with both AC/DC and 50/60Hz AC. It was introduced in 1968, following the successors of the 481 and 483 series.
The 1500 series for Hokkaido is characterized by two headlights above the driver's cab and has been in operation on the "Ishikari" limited express train between Sapporo and Asahikawa since 1975.
