316398 Tetsuro JR 123 Series 5040 2-Car Set A
Introducing the original Minobu Line one-man train, the JR 123 Series 5040!
●The 123 Series train is a DC suburban train for local lines, modified from a freight train that was in use during the JNR era.
●Of these, the 5040 is a 40 Series train modified for section transport on the Minobu Line between Fuji and Nishi-Fujinomiya and between Kajikazawaguchi and Kofu during the final period of the JNR era, modified to be air-conditioned and compatible with one-man operation.
●It was mainly used on the Minobu Line, also serving as a vehicle for section trains between Kajikazawaguchi and Kofu, and supported local transport on the line along with the 115 Series 2000 until its retirement in 2007.
●Towards the end of the period, it was lined up with the 373 Series and 313 Series, and you can enjoy it together with other TOMIX products.
●Previously, the 40th generation was released in the 20th edition of the Railway Collection, but this time the 5040th generation will be released as a two-car set in JR Central's standard JR Central colors of orange with green stripes on an ivory background and equipped with a C-AU711 type cooler.
●By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, it can be run as an N gauge model train.
●We recommend the TM-14 (20m class A2) power unit, TT-04R running parts set, and PS23 <0229> pantograph.
