●Hokuetsu Express is a third sector company that operates the 59.5km Hokuhoku Line, which connects Muikamachi, which connects with the Joetsu Line, and Saigata, which connects with the Shinetsu Main Line, from Tokamachi.
●Before the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen in March 2015, this line was also famous as the route for the Hakutaka express train, but now all trains, including the super-rapid Snow Rabbit, rapid trains, and local trains, are operated on the HK100 series.
