●The Tobu Railway 6050 series is a rare two-door cross-seat car among private railways in the Kanto region, created in 1985 by reusing major parts from the predecessor 6000 series renewal car. In 1988, some trains were newly built in conjunction with the unification of Yagan Railway's car models and the electrification of Aizu Railway's Aizu-Tajima line. On March 11, 2022, the three-company direct train service between Tobu Railway, Yagan Railway, and Aizu Railway, which had been operated by the 6050 series for about 34 years, will end due to a timetable revision, and the Tobu Railway 6050 series will also be effectively retired. This time, the prototype is the 4-car formation 6176-6276-6173-6273, which was operated differently from the usual on the final train departing Aizu-Tajima on March 11th, with two cars added at Shin-Fujiwara along the way and a change of destination to Shin-Tochigi at Shimo-imaichi.
