10-2102 205 Series 3100 “Senseki Line Color” (Single-Pantograph) 4-Car Set by KATO

The Senseki Line is the only JR DC electrified line in the Tohoku region, running from Aobadori to Sendai and connecting to Ishinomaki via the Matsushima coast.

From 2002 onwards, the 205 Series was modified into 4-car sets with alterations made to the lead cars. The 3100 subseries, transferred from suburban lines, can be seen in two variations: one with a single pantograph (before modifications) and another with two pantographs (after modifications).
