HC-KATO scheduled for release in June 2026

The KATO-HC Abukuma Express is a third-sector company that runs a separate line from the Tohoku Main Line, running along the Abukuma River between Fukushima and Tsukigi. The AB900 series is based on JR East's E721 series and is being introduced to replace the 8100 series that has been in service since the electrification of the line. Currently, seven trains are in service, and the plan is to increase the number to 10 in the future, with all cars being standardized to this model. Each train has a unique color scheme, and this time we are releasing the third train, featuring a striking bright yellow.
