The 287 series Panda Kuroshio is a wrapped vehicle commemorating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of JR West in 2017 (2017) and the 40th anniversary of the opening of Adventure World (Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture) in 2018 (2018). Introducing the second formation with the newly designed Adventure World logo. The Kiha 283 series is a pendulum-type limited express diesel train that debuted in 1997 as the "Super Ozora" (Sapporo-Kushiro). Boasting a maximum operating speed of 130 km/h, it has significantly shortened the journey between Sapporo and Kushiro from 4 hours 25 minutes to 3 hours 40 minutes.
