Toyama Railway and Hapiline Fukui 521 series (standard paint + full wrapping formation)
The Portram was introduced by Toyama Light Rail in 2006 when the Toyama Port Line opened, and was taken over by Toyama Chiho Railway in 2020 as part of the progress of the Toyama Station Tram North-South Connection Project. Since the start of direct service between the Toyama Port Line and the Toyama Tramway in 2020, the Portram has been used on the entire city tram line, combining both lines, and is a symbol of the revitalization of Toyama City's downtown area, centered on public transportation.
