JR Kyushu 811 Series 0 (Green Stripe on Front) 4-Car Set (Motorized)
The JR Kyushu 811 Series is an AC-type train manufactured since 1989. The lightweight stainless steel body and high-performance core components allow for a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The interior features all-reversible cross seats, and the KuHa 810 series is equipped with a toilet.
These trains are primarily used on local and rapid trains on the Kagoshima Main Line, Nippo Main Line, and Nagasaki Main Line in northern Kyushu, but were also used as special express trains when they were first introduced.
Since 1995, two trains have been in service with green body stripes and theme park livery. However, around 2007, the PM9 train's side stripes were changed to the standard color, with only the front stripe remaining green, and they were in service until around 2008.
