This series was introduced in 2007 for the purpose of updating the rolling stock at JR East's Sendai Branch and for operation on the Sendai Airport Access Line. It features a low-floor body structure with small-diameter wheels to accommodate the low-floor platforms of local lines, and achieves barrier-free access with no steps at the entrances. In addition to the previously introduced 0-series\/500-series (2-car sets), the 1000-series (4-car fixed sets) appeared in 2016. Including vehicles owned by third-sector companies that share the same manufacturer and basic design, this series boasts a wide variety of variations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis release includes three types: a 2-car set of the 0-series (one-man operation specification), a 4-car set of the 1000-series, and a 6-car set (special edition) consisting of a non-one-man operation 0-series and 1000-series combination.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt operates on the Tohoku Main Line (Shin-Shirakawa to Ichinoseki), Joban Line (north of Haranomachi), Senzan Line (Sendai to Yamagata), and Ban'etsu West Line (Koriyama to Aizu-Wakamatsu). It's a fun model to see coupled with other train types, such as the popular 701 series 1000 series (Sendai color), and also alongside the HB-E300 series \"Hinabi\"\/\"SATONO\". Enjoy the modern Tohoku railway scene with this model train.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e① This product features the P-13 formation belonging to the Sendai Vehicle Center, equipped with a one-man operation indicator next to the door. Underfloor equipment such as bogies and skirts are reproduced in gray.\u003cbr\u003e② The different stripe colors for the 0 and 1000 series are beautifully reproduced (0 series: green, white, and red; 1000 series: green, white, and pink). Car numbers, ownership markings, and car number markings are pre-printed.\u003cbr\u003e③ The different sizes of the passenger windows on the side opposite the toilet, depending on the series, are reproduced.\u003cbr\u003e④ Headlights\/taillights illuminate (with on\/off switch). Four headlights illuminate on each car.\u003cbr\u003e⑤ Bogies are DT72\/TR256 for low-floor vehicles. Small diameter wheels (φ5.2mm) are used, just like the actual train, realistically reproducing the 2,100mm wheelbase of the actual train. Snowplows are pre-installed.\u003cbr\u003e⑥ The front of the leading car has a dummy coupler with a coupler cover installed.\u003cbr\u003e⑦ The coupling coupler on the front of the leading car can be coupled with the 701 series. Intermediate coupling surfaces use body-mounted close-coupling couplers (without hooks).\u003cbr\u003e⑧ The skirts reproduce the different positions of the inspection covers on the Kumoha E721 and Kuha E720, and the presence or absence of inspection covers depending on the series number.\u003cbr\u003e⑨ The front display is pre-installed with \"Sendai,\" and interchangeable front displays: \"Shin-Shirakawa\" and \"(blank)\" are included.
