Sleeper Car Express "Hamanasu" 7-Car Basic Set

"Hamanasu," the last regular sleeper express train connecting Honshu and Hokkaido.

The Sleeper Car Express "Hamanasu" ran from Aomori to Sapporo, passing through the Seikan Tunnel. It debuted in 1988,
coinciding with the opening of the Seikan Tunnel, and was a popular train that connected B-sleeper cars, premium cars,
"Dream Cars" (reclining seat cars) with both reserved and non-reserved seating.

The train typically operated with a 7-car formation, consisting of 5 cars of the 14-series seat cars and 2 sleeper cars. Duringpeak seasons, it was sometimes extended to a 12-car formation, where it operated with even greater capacity.

The side destination display is now included as a sticker (rather than being printed - as in previous products).
headboard included in this version has been updated to a light-up type. The item number, price, and JAN code have also been changed.

① The SUHANEFU 14 reproduces the Hokkaido-style 550 series, which was modified from the OHANEFU 25, featuring a gabled end and white stripe design.

③ Each car of the Series 14-500 has sliding doors for cold-weather use.
