The SuHa 43 series represents the quintessential JNR passenger car, with over 1,000 units mass-produced.
Over the long course of its production, the series evolved into various configurations, showcasing a wide range of liveries and modifications. These cars operated on lines across the country, serving everything from express trains to local services.
