DD13-600 diesel locomotive
The DD13 type was a diesel locomotive introduced for shunting, and was manufactured for nearly 10 years with repeated changes to each part.
The 600 series was a vehicle that added multiple-unit overall control to the 300 series, and the cold-climate type was used as an auxiliary engine for snow removal trains operated by DD14s in winter, and on the Uetsu Main Line, it was used in multiple units to pull main line freight trains only in summer until electrification in 1972.
