JR EH800 Series Electric Locomotive New Color
The EH800 series was developed based on the EH500 series to accommodate dual-voltage and other equipment, as the Seikan Tunnel will be shared by both the Shinkansen and conventional lines when the Hokkaido Shinkansen opens in spring 2016.
The roof is equipped to accommodate both the Shinkansen and conventional lines.
●Reproduces the appearance of the recent model, where the JRF markings have been removed and the underfloor equipment and skirts are the same gray as the bottom of the main body.
●The bogies are the same gray as the bottom of the main body.
●The headlights are equipped with a constant-on circuit board.
●The headlights are illuminated by warm white LEDs.
●The release lever is a separate part.
●The front handrail (vertical) is a separate part.
●The JR mark is printed.
●The license plate is a separate part (EH800-1, 5, 7, 9).
●All axles are current collectors.
●All axles are driven.
●Signal flares, whistles, and radio antennas are separate parts.
●Dummy couplers and self-coupling TN couplers are included.
●Flywheel-equipped powertrain.
