JR 225-100 Series Commuter Train
The 225 series is a new type of train introduced in 2010.
The 100 series, added from 2016, features a redesigned front end and is available in 4-car and 8-car configurations.
With the March 2023 timetable revision, the 700 series, featuring the paid A-seat service for the Special Rapid Service, was introduced.
● The anti-fall barrier on the lead car is a separate part, and two types are included: one for when the car is leading and one for when it is coupled.
● This set, along with the <98546> 4-car add-on set and the <98544> A-seat 4-car set, can be used to recreate a 12-car train formation.
● The front display is interchangeable and comes with pre-printed parts installed; replacement parts are included.
● Car numbers are pre-printed.
● Headlights and taillights illuminate with white LEDs, and fog lights illuminate with orange.
● Headlights and taillights are equipped with a constant lighting circuit board and an ON-OFF switch.
● Lead car driver's cab side equipped with TN coupler (SP).
● Flywheel-equipped motor.
● New current collection system and silver wheels.
