JR 485 Series Limited Express Train (Kyoto General Depot, Raicho, Kuro 481-2000) Basic Set

The 485 Series was introduced in 1968 as a limited express train compatible with three power sources: DC and AC 50/60Hz, and was used in electrified sections nationwide.
The Limited Express "Raicho" was introduced in 1964 as a limited express train connecting Kansai and Hokuriku.
The "Raicho" used the 485 Series for many years, and became a representative 485 Series limited express train in Western Japan as a star limited express on the Hokuriku Main Line due to the large number of trains it operated.
From 1989 to 1991, the Panorama Green Car was introduced by modifying the Saro 489 and Saha 481 types and was used on the "Super Raicho", and was used until 2001, after which it was used on the "Shirasagi", and in 2003 it was used on the "Raicho".
Kyoto General Depot's 485 series A02 formation is a coupled Panorama Green car with a row of small windows on the sides which was converted from a Salo 489 type, and one of the leading cars is a KuHa 481 No. 801 which has a distinctive connecting door which was converted into a leading car, making it a unique formation.
When the number of Raicho trains operated by the 485 series was reduced in March 2010, A02 formation was retired.
