JR Series N700-1000 (N700A) Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen Add-on Set A
The N700 series is the mainstay trainset of the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines; the N700A, an improved version offering enhanced safety and stability, has been in service since 2013.
Units operated by JR Central belong to the 1000 sub-series.
