0 series Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen (NH16 formation
The 0 series is the first commercial Shinkansen vehicle that appeared in 1964.
The 0-series Shinkansen trains initially had a white V-shaped display on their skirts to identify them, but this was later changed to a blue belt around the headlights.
