JR E217 series suburban train (8th edition/updated car) basic set A
The E217 series is a suburban train based on the 209 series that was introduced in 1994 to replace the 113 series on the Yokosuka/Sobu Rapid Line.
Two two-story green cars are connected to the 11-car basic formation.
In the 8th generation cars added in 1999, the side windows of the long seat cars became the same as the 209 series 500s, and in the 4-car train, production of the Kuha E216 type 1000s was resumed and incorporated into the formation. I got it.
Starting in 2007, the color of the bands on the car body was also changed to coincide with the implementation of equipment renewal work to the underfloor equipment.
The skirt of the lead car has also been replaced with a reinforced one.
