Kintetsu 2680 series type (fresh fish train) 3-car set (motorized)
The Kintetsu 2680 series is a 4-door commuter train manufactured in 1971 (Showa 46), consisting of two 3-car sets, for a total of six cars.
It was the first Kintetsu commuter train to be equipped with air conditioning, but the running equipment was reused from the former 10000 series Vista car. The interior is a cross seat similar to the 2600 series, and the Ku2780 series is equipped with a toilet. In 1991 (Heisei 3), the body was renovated and the interior was converted to long seats.
In 2001 (Heisei 13), the 2683 train was converted to a "fresh fish train" and was in service until the fresh fish train was abolished in 2020 (Reiwa 2), but the 2682 train was scrapped the following year in 2002 (Heisei 14).
