<Local Sen> KIHA 20 Series Orange
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of N-gauge, we are releasing the KIHA 20 series from the early lineup in special edition
packaging!
The KIHA 20 series was introduced in 1957 as a general-purpose diesel railcar. It operated on various local lines across the
country, including a version specifically designed for colder regions and remained in service until 1991, shortly after the
transition to JR.
The KIHA 20 Series, reproduced in the early N-gauge style, is available in 2 color - each as a 2-car set. “Orange 1” replicates the orange and cream colors used during the peak of the JNR era. “Orange 2” reproduces the solid orange “suburban” color scheme that was used towards the end of the JNR era, continuing into the JR period. N-gauge models.

② Orange 1 includes two KIHA 20 cars in the 'general' color scheme (orange and cream), which was the standard color for JNR diesel cars.
③ The 60th anniversary special edition packaging consists of two clear cases inside a specially designed vanity box. Each
clear case replicates a nostalgic package design for each of the four cars.
④ The powered car (KIHA 20) in each set includes a reprint of the “Inspection Certificate” (Inspection certificate).
⑤ The underfloor area is recreated in grey, and the front curtains and bogie are black.
⑥ Equipped with Arnold couplers.
⑦ Uses the company label “Sekisui”.
