Specifically, Series 211-3000 is capable of operating in inclined areas in a configuration of cars Kumoha + Moha + Saha + Saha + Kuha. It is also equipped with long seats along the both sides to accommodate rush hour crowds. It is currently operated on the Takasaki Line and Tohoku Main-Lines, among others.
Kato will make an N scale model of Series 211-3000 in the current shape which is in operation in Nagano region. To replace the series 115 in Nagano region which is already aged, series 211, made short in the consist and changed in the coloring, were introduced one by one since 2013.
The train is reinforced in the skirt and operated widely between Takao and Nagano on Chuo mainline/ Shinonoi line, between Matsumoto and Shinano-omachi on Oito line and Tatsuno and Iida on Iida line and between Otuski and Kawaguchiko on Fuji Express line.
