Series 321 is a new stainless steel commuter train of JR West Japan and made its debut in 2005 in urban areas in West Japan. The train is made of 7 cars and the carriages are operated not only on JR Kyoto line, JR Kobe line and JR Takarazuka line (Fukuchiyama line) but also on JR Tozai line (Since the opening on 2008). Series 321 further run on Gakkentoshi line (Katamachi line) and Yamatoji line (Kansai mainline) via Tozai line, thus covering wide area in Kansai district.
-The prototype is the D12 organization belonging to the Akashi branch of the current Aboshi General Vehicle Station.
-Reproduce the wheelchair mark and stroller mark of car # 1, the cold car notation seen in cars 2 and 6, and the car notation of car # 5.
-Reproduce the appearance that the front car number indicator of the leading car has been removed.
-Adopted a proven flywheel-mounted power unit. Realizes stable running.
-The coupler at the top of the top car is reproduced with a dummy coupler. The intermediate connection part is equipped with a body-mounted KATO coupler tightly connected (with hook) as standard.
-Head / tail light on. The color of the fog light on the actual car is reproduced in yellow.
-Front display "A Normal Nishi-Akashi" is already installed. Replacement front display is included.
-The destination display part on the side is printed in black.
-Destination display sticker included. Includes content tailored to the operation after the revision on March 16, 2019. In addition to the operation of the JR Kyoto Line, JR Kobe Line, JR Takarazuka Line, JR Tozai Line, and JR Gakken Toshi Line, it is also possible to reproduce the direct speed of Yamatoji Line via the Osaka East Line.
・ The package comes in a paper box. The add-on set is a 7-car type book case that can hold 3 cars of the basic set.
