Series 381 Express Shinano started as the world-first pendulum express in 1973 on Chuo Main Lines, and in 1988 it was operated as a 6-car “Panorama Shinano” express train including the newly developed panorama-view first-class top-car KURO 381 10, winning a good reputation.

・ Kuha 381 is a prototype in the 0s. The shape of the front is reviewed to reproduce a more realistic appearance. The additional set Kuha 381-3 reproduces the initial car with one wiper on each side.
-The nickname of Kuha 381 uses a convertible train mark. Includes "Shinano", "Spur Tsugaike", "Spur Tsugaike / Happo", and "Temporary"

-Reproduce the JNR limited express color with the red No. 2 belt on Cream No. 4
-Adopts a body mount close-coupled coupler without hooks for the intermediate connection. A dummy coupler is used at the beginning of Kuha 381. The base / this set comes with a coupler for connecting the attached train and a skirt as replacement parts.
