Kintetsu Series 10100 "New Vista Cars" are a renowned train which debuted in 1959 as an express electric train and made the leading position of Kintetsu Express train operated between Nagoya and Osaka unwavering.
The train of consists of 3 articulated cars including then epoch-making double decker middle car. According to the different tops, there used to be 3 train consists.
Ahead of the retirement of 1979, a memorial run was made by triple heading of A+C+B train consist. The triple heading run was conducted also in July to August, 1980 with "Farewell run" headmark.

・Kato makes the scale model in the form that it was renovated till 1975.
・Each top car is equipped with head/taillights, indicator lights and express-train sign which turn on. White LED is used. The through type lead car only is equipped with turn-off switch.
・Slotless motor is used to realize smooth and quiet move. For operation in combined trains, consist A is supplied with traction tires, C, without traction tire and B, without power unit.
・For middle car connection and for the top of through type lead car, car-body-mounted Kato (hookless) tight couplers are used.
・The decorated color packaging box is used for A + B consist 6 car set. It can additionally store 3-car train consist in it.
