Tank Car Taki 3000 (Nihon Sekiyu)
The Taki 3000 is a 30-ton capacity tank car designed exclusively for transporting gasoline; a total of 1,594 units were manufactured starting in 1947.
Most were privately owned by companies such as oil firms and played an active role in transporting gasoline across the country, but they were all retired by 2002 due to aging.
A refreshed version of KATO's best-selling freight car.
Its excellent detailing has stood the test of time.
Features a newly assigned car number: Taki 13220.
The tank body features newly printed "Nihon Sekiyu Co., Ltd." (Japan Oil) lettering and logo. (Note: This company name and logo are no longer in use.)
Comes equipped with standard Arnold couplers.
Compatible with optional #11-702 KATO Coupler N for replacement.
