Subaru brought a 4WD machine to the WRC (World Rally Championship) for the first time in 1980, but full-scale participation began 10 years later in 1990. In order to reach the pinnacle of the WRC, we teamed up with the British constructor Prodrive and started the challenge with the Legacy, a machine that symbolizes the new era of Subaru. The Legacy finished with only one win in four years of participation, but Subaru's dream of world domination will blossom with its successor, the Impreza, which packs its technology and know-how into a more compact body. In 1993, he suddenly finished second in his debut race, and in the 1994 season, when he entered full-time, he won three races. The momentum did not stop, and in 1995, he achieved his long-cherished desire to win the manufacturer and driver double titles. In 1996 and 1997, it won the manufacturer's title and succeeded in making the image of Subaru = WRC known worldwide. There are two types of line-up: 1994 RAC specification and 1995 opening race Monte Carlo specification.
