■ Product description
The rear auxiliary equipment is connected to the train that passes through the steep slope between Senohachi and Yamotomatsu on the Sanyo Main Line, and is known as "Senohachi" among fans.
Since the opening of electrification, the ef59, which is a modified old electric locomotive, and the ef61-200 series, which is a modified ef60, have been used. The ef67 was introduced by modifying the ef60 in 1982 (Showa 57) for improvement.
A major feature is that a gangway door and a work deck are installed on one side of the cab, and chopper control is adopted to improve adhesive performance.
As for the body color, the autumn leaves color was adopted after the Hiroshima area.
The ef67, which was added as a replacement for the ef61-200 series after the JNR division and privatization, is classified as the 100 series because the ef65 is a seed car and the installation of through doors and decks is omitted.
