The Kishin Line is a 158 km long non-electrified line that runs from Himeji to Niimi via Kozuki and Tsuyama in Okayama Prefecture. KIHA 122 series is a new series of diesel locomotives that started operation in March 2009 as part of the Kishin Line transportation improvement project. The all-stainless steel double cab car body is combined with a normal steel front head with a design in the vein of the 223 series. The train (usually) runs from Himeji to Kozuki in single or two-car set.

-Accurately reproduce the modern design of the front shape and the clear side with large windows that are similar to the 223 series and 521 series
-Reproduce the overhang at the bottom of the customer door
-Reproduce the shape that does not block the left and right inspection holes because there is no notch for the electric conjunctive form at the bottom of the skirt
● Body mount close-coupled type (without hook) is used for the connecting part, and dummy couplers are equipped at the beginning and end. Replacement connecting coupler included
● Snowplow is already attached to the dolly
