JR EF210-0 Electric Locomotive (Momotaro Wrapping)
The EF210 series, a DC electric locomotive, has been JR Freight's flagship since its prototype debut in 1996.
The 0-series was the first mass-produced EF210 series, debuting in 1998. 18 locomotives were manufactured, all of which were assigned to the Okayama Locomotive Depot.
The nickname "ECO-POWER Momotaro," associated with the Okayama area where it was first deployed, was chosen through a public contest.
In 2019, the livery was changed to a blue background with white stripes, and in 2020, the "Momotaro" character was wrapped on the side of the car.
