JNR Diesel Railcar KiHa 10 Series (T)
The KiHa 10 series was a diesel railcar featuring driver's cabs at both ends and no restroom; it was introduced for single-car operations during off-peak hours or as an additional car for the KiHa 17 series. While it frequently operated in mixed formations with the KiHa 16/17 and KiHa 20/30/55/58 series across many lines, it was also used for single-car operations on branch lines such as the Itsukaichi Line and Futamata Line.
The series was retired by around 1980, having been replaced by the KiHa 40 series.
