The 800 series 1000th generation is an additional vehicle since 2009 for the Kyushu Shinkansen.
In commemoration of the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse's screen debut, the "Go! Waku Waku Trip with MICKEY" project will appeal to travelers on the Kyushu Shinkansen, and will be operated as an 800 series Shinkansen with special decorations.
