JR Kyushu WAKU WAKU SMILE Shinkansen
The 800 series, which is used on the Kyushu Shinkansen between Hakata and Kagoshima Chuo, is the main vehicle of the Kyushu Shinkansen.
The 800 series and 1000 series have different characteristics from the 0 series in terms of headlights, exterior side lines, etc.
The "GO! WAKU WAKU SMILE" project has started, with Mickey and many other friends going to see smiling faces all over Kyushu. Starting August 24, 2023, the 800 series U9 formation, which was specially designed for this project, will be in operation for a limited time.
