Kinuura Rinkai Railway Class KE65 Diesel Locomotive
The Kinuura Rinkai Railway Class KE65 is a locomotive identical in design to the JNR Class DE10; four units (Nos. 1–3 and 5) were originally manufactured when the railway opened.
Although units 2 and 5 were sold in 1984, a subsequent increase in freight volume led to the introduction of two ex-JNR Class DE10 units in 1990, which became the second-generation units 2 and 5.
Currently, units 1, 3, and 5 remain in active service on the railway.
